Parksville 2025

Four Days with Gordon & Faculty

July 14-17, 2025

Presented in-person at Parksville, British Columbia, Canada

We are pleased to announce Four Days with Gordon and Faculty: Re-Creating Rituals that Support Development & Well-Being

We invite you to this intimate and immersive in-person learning opportunity at the Bayside Oceanfront Resort in Parksville, British Columbia. Given the importance and timeliness of this topic, we are welcoming the public to what has previously been an annual summer event for our advanced students only.

Gordon will anchor the event, delivering the first presentation(s) of the day, followed up with sessions led by Neufeld Institute faculty to help us in our challenges to restore an attachment and developmentally friendly culture to our homes and communities.

Located on Vancouver Island, Parksville is a wonderful recreational area and a great place for family vacationing. We hope you can join us for an inspiring week of learning and connection with like-minded individuals.

We anticipate our limited seating capacity to fill up fast, so if this experience is one you don’t want to miss, please register soon. Thank you for your continued interest and support for the Neufeld Institute!

TRAVEL

Travel arrangements and expenses are the participant's responsibility.

Travelling by plane

Most flights require a transfer through Vancouver International Airport (YVR) to a connecting flight to airports on Vancouver Island: Nanaimo Airport (YCD) (a 40-minute drive south of Parksville) and Comox Airport (YQQ) (1-hour drive north of Parksville). Or, one may be able to fly directly to Victoria International Airport (YYJ) (a 2.5-hour drive south of Parksville). Airport shuttles or car rentals to Parksville are available. Alternatively, one can arrive in Vancouver, rent a car, take beautiful BC Ferries from Tsawwassen over to Nanaimo, and then drive north to Parksville. There is no direct bus service from Vancouver International Airport (YVR) to Parksville.

Travelling by car/ferry from Vancouver

Take BC Ferries to Nanaimo from either the Horseshoe Bay terminal or the Tsawwassen terminal. Vehicle reservations can be made now, and are strongly recommended to avoid multi-sailing waits and a possible one-day delay.

Shuttle

Nanaimo Airporter shuttle services include 24/7 door to door service of Departure Bay, Gabriola and Duke Point ferry terminals and the Nanaimo airport. Service to Victoria Airport or Comox Airport is available. Call for rates and book early.
